(KNSI) – A woman is hurt after crashing a moped-style scooter in Rockville over the weekend.
First responders were called around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday to an accident with injuries on Stearns County Road 140. The sheriff's office says Shayna Leigh St. Onge was driving a 2006 KYMCO scooter around a curve. Investigators say she lost control and drove into the south ditch.
The 48-year-old was the only person riding the scooter and was wearing a helmet when she crashed. The Little Falls woman was treated for her injuries at the scene and later taken to CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance.
Her current condition is unknown.
